I don't want my story written for me — I want to write it myself. Life's a journey that deserves to be captured.

Meet April:

I'm a homeschooling mama of six, homesteader, firearms instructor, and author — fueled by sweet tea and a stubborn belief that women should be capable, confident, and a little bit dangerous.

I write about the things that make our life work: feeding a big family without losing my mind, teaching our kids at the kitchen table, and being prepared for whatever life throws at us. I'm not interested in perfect — I'm interested in real.

When I'm not wrangling children or chickens, you'll find me behind a camera, traveling with my family, or teaching women how to stop being easy targets.
